In September 2015, ACE provided $4000 to bring an exhibit called Of Many Colors to all public elementary schools in Andover.
Of Many Colors includes photographs and interviews with 20 families (children, teens, and adults) who have bridged the racial divide through interracial relationships and/or adoption. In a world where race is considered by many to be a formidable barrier between people, the families in this traveling exhibit have discovered richness and value in diversity. This exhibit of multiracial families has a great deal to teach about racial identity and racism.
An article about this grant appeared in Eagle Tribune –‘Of Many Colors’ exhibit speaks to changing face of Andover.
