The Andover Coalition for Education will be holding the fifth annual scarecrow festival this fall. The festival will be held in downtown Andover from Oct. 14 through Oct. 28. Last year 76 scarecrows were displayed during the festival on Main Street and in downtown Andover. Over $16,000 was raised by ACE through the festival for Andover Public Schools.
“We are hoping to have that many participants, if not more, this year,” said Jennifer Srivastava, ACE director.
Interested organizations and non profits can enter a scarecrow in the festival to be displayed on Main Street or downtown for $50. The entry fee also covers the cost of wood and hay for a scarecrow.
