Andover Public Schools are continuing their voyages into 21st century learning.
Andover Coalition for Education awarded the district a $34,000 grant to create and enhance “Maker Studios” in Andover schools. Within a few months of receiving the grant, students have already begun working in Maker Studios to create projects and learn material through hands-on learning.
“It has been exciting working with APS on this initiative and we are thrilled to have been able to provide seed funding to help get it off the ground,” said Lenore Price, President of ACE. “ACE supports innovative ideas at the district level, and this is one that reaches all schools and really cuts across all disciplines.”
