December 18, 2006, Eagle Tribune: "12,000 households asked to support schools"

ANDOVER - The Andover Coalition for Education hopes school supporters will be in the giving spirit this season. The private fundraising organization has mailed letters to every household in town, more than 12,000, as part of its first appeal for money to support new school programs. The letters and accompanying brochures also highlight ACE's accomplishments this year.

Oct. 24, 2006, Eagle Tribune: "A place to learn on a nice day"

ANDOVER - Sixth-graders at Wood Hill Middle School aren't just learners. They're engineers and construction workers, too. More than 80 students designed and built the school's new outdoor classroom that dozens of school officials and parents turned out to celebrate at a grand opening.

"It is really quite beautiful," said Superintendent Claudia Bach, who had the honor of cutting the ribbon at Friday morning's ceremony.
